Evon's Strawberry Pie

1 cup sugar
3 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup water
3 tbsp strawberry jello
3 tbsp white corn syrup
Boil until sugar, cornstarch and water until clear. Remove from heat. Add jello and
corn syrup, stir well and cool. Fill pie shell with fresh strawberries. When filling
cools, pour over berries. Let set. Top with whipping cream, Cool Whip or Dream Whip.
